Last updated: June 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Nova Answer ("Nova Answer", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile and desktop applications (including the Beacon app), and related call-handling and messaging services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1.Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

2.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3.Mobile Information & SMS Data

We do not sell your data, and we never share mobile opt-in or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

If you opt in to receive text messages from Nova Answer (for example, account verification codes, call notifications, or service alerts), we collect your mobile phone number and your consent record. This information is used only to operate and support the messaging program you opted into.

Categories of third parties with whom we may share information strictly to deliver the Services — and not for their own marketing — include our communications infrastructure provider (for sending SMS and connecting calls) and push-notification providers. These providers are contractually limited to using the data only to provide their service to us. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for messaging program details, opt-out (STOP), and help (HELP) instructions.

4.How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing.

5.Calls, Greetings & Recordings

Nova Answer processes inbound calls forwarded to your account in order to play greetings, present menus, and transfer legitimate callers to you. If you enable call recording or voicemail features, audio may be stored so you can access it. You are responsible for complying with applicable call-recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction, including any requirement to notify callers that a call may be recorded.

6.Data Retention

We retain account and configuration data for as long as your account is active. Call metadata and recordings are retained according to your plan and settings, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required by law.

7.Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and authenticated APIs — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and promptly address vulnerabilities.

8.Your Rights & Choices

9.Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10.Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
